Choose the catch’s job first

Before approaching the buyer, make one decision: is this catch food, a task item or something you are ready to sell? The game combines fishing with hunger and progression tasks, so the biggest immediate sale is not always the most useful choice.

1. Task item: keep it if your active objective names it. The Crab Body belongs with the Lighthouse Keeper.
2. Food: check the hunger meter and use the eating action if you need the catch to keep going.
3. Sale: take catches you are ready to part with to the buyer.

Get the catch ready for the buyer

The opening tutorial follows a specific sequence: land the fish, drop it, defeat it and then sell. A live catch can escape into deep water, so finish that part of the job before turning your attention back to the shop.

1. Drop and defeat the landed fish.
2. Collect it and return to the Fish Buyer.
3. Approach until the available selling interactions appear.

Use the sale option that matches your decision

The Fish Buyer offers both a single-fish sale and a sell-all interaction. Use the single-fish choice when you want a deliberate sale. Before choosing the bulk option, check what you are carrying and whether anything is needed for food or a hand-in.

1. Choose a single-fish sale when you are keeping other catches.
2. Use the bulk choice only when you are comfortable selling the catches it covers.
3. Check the result and the active objective before leaving the buyer.

Try the Air Mail objective after a normal sale

Air Mail is an official badge for selling a fish by throwing it to the Fish Buyer. It is a separate goal from learning the standard interaction, so first make a normal sale and become familiar with the buyer’s position.

1. Choose a catch you are willing to sell.
2. Face the Fish Buyer and use the catch’s throw action.
3. Check whether the sale and badge objective completed.
